If you want a super fast to setup, super easy to use, high quality alt-az mount look no further than the DM-6 from Discmounts. I had the chance to purchase my DM-6 directly form it's creator Tom Peters at the 2009 Winter Star Party. The first thing you notice with this mount is how sturdy and solid it is. A truly amazing piece of equipment. I use mine on a Losmandy HD tripod which provides a strong and steady platform for my Takahashi TOA130F. Setup takes a few minutes but it is really easy to do. Once you have it balanced the night sky is yours. I change from my AP/Baader Mark V binos to an Ethos 13 with no balance problems at all. Super smooth to move and the Sky Commander computer is a joy to use. Great mount, great times. I love it.
