Pentax 6x30 I.F. Mariner

This vintage is very difficult to find now. The fit and finish are comparable to Fujinon body, i.e. oversize prism housing and rugged for heavy field use. The image is extremely sharp and clear, and the view is very stereoscopic! The performance is reminiscent of venerable Zeiss Jena glasses. It is better than Zeiss 8x30 Deltrentis. There are two drawbacks for this glass:

1. Only fully coated. Little effect on the image quality, except when comparing to Nikon SE or Leica offering. (But not by much).

2. It is heavy for its size.

All in all, a must have for vintage binocular aficionados.
