Harry Siebert Optics Premium 9mm, 1.25 inch

This is a tremendous eye piece for deep space objects. It provides an extremely flat very wide field of view and the contrast is very nice.

It is much lighter than you'd expect from the descriptions on Harry's web site.

Harry has been a pleasure to deal with and in the few times that I have spoken with him he has given me excellent advice as to which eyepiece would benefit me the most given my telescope and what I like to observe.

You must be careful about your intended use of this line of eye piece before you purchase them, though. The Premium line is extremely tuned to deep space objects. If you are going to use them on objects brighter than about 4th magnitude, you'll be better of with his Ultra series as the Premium's tend to produce faint ghosts of brighter stars. To be fair, Harry will tell you this before you order and his web site clearly states that these are not designed for brighter objects.

All in all, this is the best eye piece in my collection. I have one of his Ultra's on order to compliment this one.
