Great eyepiece for touring the milkyway star fields in my 120 f/5 refractor[4.33 degree field].Sharpness drops off towards edge but most of the field is useable with a pleasing sense of depth.For it's price it offers an acceptable wide field of view in my refractor.It is a good alternate for someone who wants a 2'' eyepiece with a big field of view but can't afford to purchase a $$ top of the line wide field eyepiece.Good construction and contrast.

Owned one briefly, on an 8" Newtonian f6.3 the edge was soft (typical erfle needs f8+ to work). I use a test i call the pine needle test. Find a pine tree 1/2 mile or further away and wxamine the needles. Centre was good, needles turned to blobs on the edge. Traded for sharper optics.

Good "finder" eyepiece in my 120mm refractor. Edges are a little soft but still a wonderful view of M31 and it's satellite galaxies. M45 was pretty good to but you could see the stars just start to distort as it drifted through the field. I would say 90% of the field is unaffected. On a 16" LX200, it was sharp right to the edge. My refractor is F6.7. Great eyepiece for the price.

This is a very good value in a 40mm 2" eyepiece. Construction is solid, although not quite up to Televue standards, but for $99 it's a great deal. This eyepiece shows a bit of edge distortion as do most Erfles, but pretty sharp within the inner 75-80% of the f.o.v.. Compared to a 35 Panoptic it's a bit less sharp but costs about 1/4 the price. The eyepiece does seem sensitive to eye placement. Overall a good solid performer for little money.

Nice pinpoint star images, sharp to almost the very edge in my 8" F10 SCT, and with good transmission. A bit of curvature but not bad at all. Fit and finish are nice, too, with a comfortable rubber grip and solid feel. At $99, it's less expensive than the nearest competition and performs solidly in an SCT.

Good contrast with little ghosting. There is a small amont of field curvature and coma at the edges, but not much worse than my 22mm Panoptic and as good as my 32mm Meade Ultrawide (2"). Star fields look very sharp with a nice wide FOV (widest true field in a 2" eyepice). recommend a good 2" diagonal with an actual 2" clear aperature.
