Subject: SXD By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.45.31) Date: 07/30/2008 05:42:34 am PDT Very well built mount but unfortunatly equiped with ridiculous motors (SAYAMA 16mm diameter) very sensitive to load : irregular sound and irregular tracking in synchro (jump up to 6" at high frequency). Worm gears are not in cause (PE +/-8"). While GOTO is good and mount stable and a dream to install, tracking is "horrible" with permanent jerks making astrophotography (above 500mm) and observing at high power (>200X) painful (if possible).
