Subject: super monocentric By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.18.67) Date: 05/22/2004 05:12:38 pm PST Why should somebody pay 200$ for a 3 elements eypiece? because theis tiny lenses are well polished? How difficult is to polish a lens a few mm across to justify the ridiculously high price? Do u like observing planets? Buy a set of orthos or good plossls for the same price and enjoy observing! If u still like the "super" monocentrics with huygenian field of view wait till they prices go down to the cost of a 3 element kellner. Ive got an 800 element for you for $800,000. >Why should somebody pay 200$ for a 3 elements eypiece? >because theis tiny lenses are well polished? How difficult is to polish a lens a few mm across to justify the ridiculously high price? >Do u like observing planets?
