I also just bought a pair of these. I am impressed with them. I've owned several pairs of 50mm binos, and am blown away by the difference when used for stargazing. At 3 lbs, and change they take some getting used to, but I don't have much trouble holding them steady, especially when bracing my elbows on a fence, truck hood, etc. Do have a "heavy duty" camera tripod from Wal-Mart for when friends want to use them. One thing could be better though: They could have a more definitive ipd scale on them. Eye relief is great, aperture makes it seem like I'm holding two 3" approx scope up to my head. M42 trhough these is nothing less than awsome, same goes for M31, NGC 869/884, and quite a few others. If you only have $100.00 or so to spend, I would definitely recommend these to you.
