Subject: Pocono Mt 20mm Erfle By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.181.254) Date: 11/07/2002 08:44:09 am PST The one I got is branded Celestron Erfle fully coated. I found the field stop too large for an f/8 system, as the outer portion vignetted in both reflector and refractor. I stopped mine down to 17mm dia. and now have ~52 degree AFW with ample eye-relief for spectacles. Lens grouping is actually a 25mm ortho with an additional field lens (1-3-1), and the mounting is the familiar 25mm ortho as available from UO or commonly available decades ago. Stamped Japan V on barrel. Performance in this modified mode is classic orthoscopic right to the edge of field. Ron Oehlert (participant in the ALPO's Luna Incognita project of the 1970's).
