Subject: Top Ten Reasons Ukyo and Konatsu are a Great Couple! By: meekachan Date: 11/29/2001 12:32:56 am PST Top Ten Reasons Ukyo and Konatsu are a Great Couple! 10.) Konatsu is 100 times cooler than Tsubasa ;) 09.) Konatsu calls her "Ukyo-sama". I don't know of another R 1/2 character that treats her with such respect. 08.) "The Ninja and the Chef" sounds so...cool! :) 07.) They live in the same building. For anime couples (Takahashi couples in particular...), this is a BIG signal that they'll get together someday (examples: Ranma/Akane, Godai/Kyoko, Miki and Yuu from Marmalade Boy... :) 06.) Ukyo has never tossed Konatsu into a trash bin (she did this to Tsubasa...). She let him stay even though he's not too good at cooking yet ^^;. 05.) Konatsu is interested ONLY in her (Tsubasa is a two, er THREE-timer and Ranma is very deeply in love with Akane :) 04.) Konatsu isn't forceful with his affections (like Tsubasa, Kuno, Mousse...the list goes on... :). His true feelings aren't even shown until Akane and Ranma find his secret scroll. 03.) Konatsu has rescued Ukyo before :) (while it's true he also helped Akane, it's UKYO he ran off with! ;) 02.) Mini-spats and ninja stars? Coincidence? I think not! :) And the #1 reason Ukyo and Konatsu make a Great Couple... 01.) Ukyo's quote "Come back with me! I'll take care of you!" (Something that puts him ahead of Kuno and Mousse in my mind). Being faithful to someone who you've decided there's no chance with would hardly seem a virtue to me.
