Rini Optics 38mm
Poor edge performance. Excellent center performance. Lightweight, inexpensive.

This is an amazing buy for $40. It's edge performance is not as good as my 32mm Brandon, but it gives a wider, brighter field. It is a keeper.

Rini Optics 38mm
This is a real sleeper. Of course, it's not as good as a Panoptic or Pentax XL, but for less than $50, what do you expect? It works, is reasonably sharp on center (although the edge is quite soft) but it shows a great, wide swath of sky. One-on-one, it's a mediocre performer, but as a cheap piece of glass, it can't be beat! Great for public viewing sessions 'cause you won't be too concerned about fingerprints.
