Zeiss APQ 130/1000
The absolute BEST brand and performance of any commercial telescope.
These APQ Zeiss (100mm and 130mm sizes) are truly the pinnacle of
telescope quality. Once you look thru a Zeiss APQ you will never want
anything else, but it comes at a steep price! Too bad Zeiss quit the
commercial market in 1995...

Zeiss APQ 130/1000
I expect a lot for my 130/1000 which I am in the process of obtaining. I've owned the 100/1000 for 7 years and the compactness and extra aperture will be welcomed. If it is in the same quality league as my 100/1000 then I will be very pleased. I will post a review of the 130 soon.

Zeiss APQ 130/1000
Finally got this compact but beefy scope.
It is one of the last made #95987.

Lens has a test report which shows a P-V of 1/7.2 a rms of 1/40 th wave and a strehl of 0.9715. Global P-V is 1/19 wave. the part that peaks at 1/7.2 is less than 1 % of surface.

I've yet to use it the weather is as cloudy as heck.

I have an APQ 130/1000 with a 98%Strehl and can say that the view of Jupiter shows as much as my AP 180 F/7 and contrast is clearly superior.
