It's not really an apo, but still, it's a nice little scope. I've often set mine up at my astronomical society open houses for views of the Moon. It's quite nice for that.

Brandon 1980's 80mm "Apo"
Not really an APO. Limited to about 50X per inch aperture. Very nice body an build, and very compact/durable, but not a realistic choice for astronomy. I found it ev en fell short of my Orion Express 80 which is definitely better as an astronomical instrument. Save this Brandon for name dropping; that is it's only superlative.
