Celestron E-LUX 26mm

I bought this to use in my LOMO 150mm Mak-Cass. At f/14.2, it performs extremely well for the pricre. I much prefer it to my 1.25" 25mm Celestron Plossl in this application. The eye lens is much bigger and there is less chance of blackouts as you roll your eye around. This makes it a good EP for high power deep sky use. The Plossl will perform much better at f/6 in my refractor, but in an f/15 Mak-Cass this simple Kellner will work just fine and give a wider AFOV as well. The contrast is very good due to the simple 3-element design. You should have an f/10 or longer focal ratio to get the most out of this EP. There is very good eye relief and viewing comfort is better than a 25mm Plossl.
