Acoustic Sound Design
I will be useing Acoustic Sound Design from now on, very easy and deliveries made on time, a breeze to work with.

I highly reccomend them.

I have purchased 2 Klipsch RF-35,s
and a RC-35 center so far.

Read this entire review.
After doing my reasearch on the web, of all the dealers that I learned of at that time, I first selected this dealer because this dealer had the best price at that time.
This was to be my first purchase of electronics online so I ordered just one item to see how things would turn out.
To say the least, I was not impressed.
I didn't think to find out if the dealer had the product in stock and the dealer did not volunteer the info.
A couple of days later I went to the website to check the order status and found that the
order had not yet been processed.
I e-mailed the dealer to find out what was going on.
I was told that the manufacturer did not have any in stock and would not have any until approxinmately two weeks later and that is when the dealer would be able to fulfill my order.
It was then I opted to make the purchase elsewhere.
A few days later I found the product at another website that charged $5.99 more for the product but without shipping and handling the product turned out to be actually $13.01 cheaper.
As previously stated, this was my first purchase of electronics online so I opted to purchase just one item.
Because of the initial savings from that other website, I was tempted to purchase at least three of the items if I werent such a fraidy cat. I didn't want to take the chance that there would be some reason that the merchandise would have to be returned costing me the shipping and handling charges.
This review is not about them so I won't say who they are nor tell you about my experience with them.
This review is about Acoustic Sound Design.
I am very much pleased with the product so I decided to purchase at least two more.
It was only a few days away from the time that the manufacturer would have the product in stock and the other website no longer had the product at that same price and the ones that did, did not have the best price that Acoustic Sound Design offered.
I called the manufacturer to see if they had the product in stock. Also, to determine if I could make the purchase from them and who their authorized dealers are.
When I asked about online dealers, the first name mentioned was Acoustic Sound Desing,
I don't know if their name was mentioned due to it's alphabetical listing or some other reason.
It was enough for me that the manufacturer recommended them and told me that the dealer did order x amount from them and that they now do have the product in stock.
I went back.
I'm glad I did.
I ordered two items from them for that same low price. Even with me paying shipping and handling, they were still the best price.
The order was processed in two days and I was e-mailed a confirmation numbeer to check the status of the order.
The third day I recieved a UPS tacking number. The order had already been shipped.
Today, a mere seven days later I have and am enjoying the product very much.
I'll review the product later.
The product is the BIC Venturer DV 62CLRS, center channel speaker.
I want to but because ot the previous attempt to order, I won't give the dealer a ten.
If the dealer had told me at the time of order that the product was not in stock and had willingly given me the same explaination that I was given after querying them, I would still have made the purchase from them instead of looking elsewhere.
I appreciate candor. It makes me feel that the dealer REALLY APPRECIATES ME as The Customer.
After all is said and done, from these two experiences, their customer service is quite good.
The product was processed, shipped and recieved in a very timely manner AND in excellent condition.
I want to give them a ten and I will.
I'll not hold the first transgression against them.
I have every intention of purchasing more from them in the future.
You should too.

GREAT PRICES. GOOD SELECTION. FAST DELIVERY.
I was a 1st time purchaser of electronic gear online and wasn't sure what to expect. The biggest positives are PRICE, PRICE and PRICE. I saved over $400 vs purchasing the same at Circuit City. The folks at Acoustic Sound Design were helpful, knowledgeable and had by far the lowest prices of all the dealers that sell online for my Polk 6700/505 surround sound speaker system. The only negative that I can tell you about is that they are so busy selling systems that they don't have time to return phone calls or answer e-mails. I left 3 phone messages and 2 e-mails - none were returned. But when I did get in touch with them, they were prompt and professional. I would DEFINITELY BUY from them again!

I was in a rush to do a custom install for one of my customer and I had to have a critical order of several speakers to arrive by Friday. To my surprise I received the shipment in two days which was one day ahead of the promised delivery date. Thank you Mike! This was my very first order with www.acousticsounddesign.com and it will not be my last.

Excellent Pricing, Great Customer Service - Responds to questions in a timely manner. I purchased a Denon AVR-3805 AV Receiver along with 5 NHT Speakers. I found the prices to be excellent, but even more importantly, I found that the customer service provided by Mike Embers, to be outstanding. I sent several emails prior to and after making my on-line purchase, and each was returned immediately; one was actually returned within less than 5 minutes. After my purchase I was provided with Tracking Numbers in a timely manner and found the product packaging to be very professional, luckily, because I walked out to the UPS truck and saw some of my packages to be strewn across the rear bed area of the van. The driver merely said, "This van has a suspension problem and that's why some of the boxes are thrown about the interior of the van." I will definitely order from www.acousticsounddesign.com again in the future and feel extremely comfortable in referring them to anyone interested in purchasing items they sell.

Ordered SCR-3s, and paid less than I would have for SCR-2s anywhere else! That's 8" in-ceiling speakers for lower than anyone selling the 6.5". Ordered Monday night, and arrived today (Thursday). Would definitely order from them again. Only reason I didn't give them 10s across the board was I received no order or shipping confirmation until after contacting them via their order status email address--but received a prompt reply. Buy from this company!

I bought an Infinity subwoofer. The price and service was both great. When I decided to change my order after I ordered online I called them and they made the change without any problems. I was informed that the item was currently out of stock (note this item was new on the market so being out of stock was no surprise and the low price made it no problem to wait a little longer). They were very helpful when I called back to check when the item would be available. In summary the shopping experience was great.

I only suggestion I have is to modify the web site to show item availability.

The price and service was both great and I will order from them again.

A bit of a delay in shipping but communication was good and product was as advertised. I bought some BIC bookshelfs and so far am very happy.

ASD is an authorized BIC online retailer so no worries about warranties, b-stock, blems or seconds. I will use them again for my BIC surrounds.

Wow when I heard this review at Epinions.com, it was like deva vu.

"I would not shop there again. I ordered a speaker three weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. They didn't notify me that the item was back-ordered They just told me most orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours, that my order was being "processed" and gave me a link to their order tracking page. They told me I would be notified when it was shipped. After a week I e-mailed them, and found out it was backordered for ten days. After that date came and went, I E-mailed again and was told "we should get them this week." After nearly another week with no word, I tried to call them, but no-one answered the phone."

I was however able to reach them by phone, but never by email. Although I literally had to leave it ringing at least 50 times (when someone has $250 of your money and doesn't respond I get impatient). When reached by phone they told me the same that my order was backordered. I would have highly appreciated an email stating this, or at least not charging my credit card 3 weeks prior to delivery of the item. I'll never order from them again.

I did business very recently with www.acousticsounddesign.com for the first time and was highly impressed about the Superior,personal service offered there.Example:I emailed a few rather technical questions pertaining to my order(BIC ACOUSTECH 5.1 Cinema Series--pretty breathtaking stuff!)and was shocked to get a PERSONAL email(not an auto -reply) in about 5 minutes--answering all of my questions fully! All 5 boxes of the shipment were delivered at the same time,on time(even despite UPS messing up as usual,which I'm starting to think is just an inevitable fact of life).Also,Mike Embers(proprietor?) personally, promptly called me when there was a question about my order,just to make sure everything was perfect.I say "Bravo!" to this merchant and wish all the best!

Purchased a pair of Polk Audio Lsi 9 speakers after requesting a quote on www.acousticsounddesign.com. Response from Mike was immediate, $609 delivered! They are always prompt to respond to emails, and when you order you get a toll free number directly to the person responding to your email. Speakers arrive via UPS in perfect condition two day earlier than expected. They seem to be able to get almost whatever you want at a great price. Sometimes there is a couple of weeks delay for them to get the product in, but they don't bill until the item is shipped. I plan on using them again to for several other audio pieces I am planning to buy.

Acoustic Sound Design has the best prices - even on Ebay, where there is plenty of competition. I ordered some Klipsch RB-75s in cherry, and saved one third off retail - that's about $400 savings. The speakers were double boxed, very well packed, and received in absolutely new, perfect condition.

Ordered Infinity BETA C250CH
- emailed the owner with the question if they are in stock and got answer within an hour. Ordered the speaker and got it shipped next day. Speaker arrived in time in original package.
Price was hard to beat, plus they offer warranty on Infinity speakers (the Infinity does not support their products unless you buy from certified dealers for much higher price).

Just received Infinity C250CH center speakers.
I did extensive research before deciding on that store - Infinity claims not to service (warranty) their products unless you buy from few authorized dealers for much higher price. Acoustic sound design offers their own warranty, which was decisive along with many positive reviews.
I emailed the store owner Mike Embers to find out if the speaker was in stock - got the answer within an hour. Ordered it and got it shipped next day. Received on schedule in original package - great sound, and my wife likes the cherry finish - matches other furniture perfectly!
I am ready to order the main speakers now from the same place...

I ordered a Denon AVR 3806 and a set of HT-75 Acoustech tower speakers. Both were ordered at different times, so they came at different times, and both in great condition. Not only did I get a good price but also got some truthfull information about delivery and stock. It doesn't get much better than that. Thanks Mike. I will be ordering the HT-63 surrounds today!
