I saw it on the sci-fi channel and loved it, but I wanna see more! oh yeah, anyone know of a website made by a fan of this movie. Anyway, Beautiful dreamer rocks, and I love the humor it involves. please tell me there will be sequels though, I must find out what happens to everyone and if they will ever see reality again.

What a fun, fun movie. This is one of those you can watch twice in a row, not only because of the humor and wonderful animation, but the story is just twisted enough that a second viewing helps. I loved the smooth animation and the way it captured the dream-like quality. Now, the style looks a bit dated now (this was made in the mid 80's) but it's very fluid and lots of fun. The dubbing was kinda silly for me, and I enjoyed the subtitled much more. If you have a DVD player you can watch the Dubbed first to get the general gist of the story and then watch it Subbed and hear the better acting by the japanese cast. Again, lots of fun and definatly worth seeing! Oh yeah, Lum is very cute :-)

Good graphics and music. Entertaining with questions about time and relativity. Watching it closely is like a trip on drugs except that anime is legal. LUM is great.

I only saw the movie w/ MUJAKI: The Dream Demon.... THAT WAS FRIKKIN HILLARIOUSE!!!! I LOVED THAT ONE! The one discribed here seems just as cool...... Or cooler....... I'd give it a 10...... Animation rocked, good, confusing story line... LLLLLOOOOOVVVVVEEEE THOSE! .... OO GAL FORCE! Saw that one too.... LATER!

I think this is the movie I am looking for... I saw it on scifi... I only caught
the last half but it was like you can't tell if you're dreaming... a short demon
decided to make a perfect dream for lum... and anyway everybody in the world disappears except for lum and her friends... and slowl each one of them disappear... until finally they realize its the demon... one of the guy characters keeps waking up to a different dream until someone tells him to walk off and say the names of the ones he loves... where he promptly does... and falls back into his body... can anyone tell me if beautiful dreamer is this movie

Hahah I give this one a 9...It has a wicked cool storyline...don't find many anime with such a bizarre storyline....as said before, a bit of knowledge does help, as with a second viewing of the movie...All in all very cool......Mendou's the coolest...Mwaahahhahhaha......=D

This is one of the coolest animes I've seen yet. I like the unique blend of bizaar plot and silly comedy. I like the mysteriousness of the storyline
(which can make you feel eerie at times). I also liked Mujaki's explanation
of time and space. The silliness of the characters makes it even more fun to
watch. And lastly, I liked the extra goodies: such as the giant pig, Baku and
the faceless street musicians.

I would definately recommend this one to anime fans.

Thoughtful, original story, and good characters who were funny without getting too silly. Space and time, fantasy and reality, favorite classic themes that are well done without being repetitive. Also, good soundtrack.

The animation could have been better but mainly I like it because or the story line and it's EXTREMLY funny.I have the movie myself and love it a lot. I want to see the next movie!My favorite character is Lum because shes so simple and sweet.It was hard to understand the movie at first,but that didn't last very long.^_^
