#20. I think any decision to decertify would have depended on the success of the NFL players union’s attempt to do the same thing. So far, that union did decertify but it’s turned into a lengthy court battle that is still not resolved and is currently in appeals. If there was clear precedent that detiacificrteon was a viable tactic to avoid a lockout, I think the NBA players would have already done so.
