I have paired this amp up with the RSP 985, The sound is amazing.
I haven't even come close to having distortion or clipping yet. I have
been using the set up with B&W CDM NT speakers. It's only natural that
the two companies go hand on hand. They are both literally the same company.

The RMB1095 is a fantastic combination of muscle and finesse. The way the company boxed the amp is enough to let you know they care about their products. The Rotel's power, detail, soundstage, and even the packaging, all left the Anthem MCA5 [I traded in for the Rotel] in the dust.

I`ve only used this amp for a short period of time so it hasn`t been broken in yet.(1 week).I`m using a Yamaha RxV-2095 as a preamp and B&W speakers ,DM 603 S2 main ,CC6 centre and CCm 80 as rears.
The thing that stood out instantly was the clarity of sound. The sound stage has also opened up and improved considerably.
This amp has a great deal of power ,200x5 , and won`t have any difficulty in driving most speakers.
It`s big and heavy so you need to consider this if space is an issue.
I see it as a good foundation for the future .

Equally good in stereo or home theatre .

Can you be more specific? For example, what type of speakers do you use? What types of music do you listen to? 
Did you replace an amp with the 1095, and if so what amp? How does it perform as an HT amp? What about soundstage detail, dynamics, etc? What type of processor / pre-amp do you use?
