My experience with them was extremely negative. Their customer service is poor, and they seem very disorganized. They also would not honor the price they advertised for a set of speakers, and refused to ship them, even after they accepted my credit card. With so many other on-line merchants out there, why bother with one that you can't trust? Buyer beware!!!

I ordered two things from them a subwoofer from infinity and the
HK AVR65. The HK AVR 65 did not sound as good as I would have liked
and they offered to return it for me and give me full credit including shipping
it back to them. Plus they have great prices(and post all their prices almost)
so you dont have to worry about calling and talking to some asshole on the other
line that only wants to talk to you if you are going to buy from them.
Overall I think its an excellent service.

Extremely poor service. Canceled my order a week after I ordered it, because of "vendor supply problems." I called to inquire on why this was so and was told they were unable to get the speaker set and sell it at the adverised price without losing money. Why did they advertise it at that price then?
I then tried to cancel my membership and was told "you don't want to cancel your membership!" I told the guy I did and he argued with me for several minutes, before I finally yelled at him "I know want I want to do CANCEL MY FRICKING MEMBERSHIP NOW!!" Finally, he gave in. By far the worst customer sales experience I have ever had.

Stay away from Netmarket. They cancelled my order a week after I made it, because of vendor problems. Their customer service reps lied to me on several occasions. Their management won't answer my inquiries. They were happy to take my money, but couldn't produce any product. BAD! BAD! BAD! Buyer beware!!

Also was one of the cancelled orders for the klipsch speaker system, horrid customer service when trying to call and see why the order was cancelled.

Prices are some of the lowest I've found and customer service is quick and knowledgeable. After an order they E-mail the tracking number to you can keep track of the progress of your order. I'm sure the people who have rated Netmarket.com so low are competitors of theirs.

For the record, an apology was issued concerning the cancellation of the Klipsch speaker orders and a fair and equitable solution was offered to all those who had orders canceled. Ordered a Sony TCK1ESA tape deck for $277 with shipping and taxes. That's about $100 better than anyone else. Order arrived a week later in perfect shape. They emailed me for confirmation of my order and they had a site on their web page where I could check the status of my order. Only negative was that the it wasn't double boxed. Overall, great experience. Will definately use them again.

Netmarket has the best prices 99% of the time. All items are new with full warrenty. The company (Cedent) is very large and has the power to get the best prices. I have purchased AR towers, subs, several car stereos, and a lot of car speakers from them. Recently ordered an Onkyo reciever but it came in damaged by UPS-not their fault. I reordered a B&K 202 reciever. This oredr is late in coming, however. Sometimes tracking numbers are not available until after an item arrives. Note that the products are NOT being shipped from their own warehouse. The products are shipped from manufacturers or distributors. I once got a package from AAA audio at 123 west street, AAA town, NY 12345.
Maybe direct from the manufacturer?

Got Energy Take 5 + es8 sub for $599 3/99. Arrived double-boxed in 3 days. Smooth, except you want to call to do the ordering. Exception? I dunno; my first exp with them, but I'd do it again

I ordered an Infinity sub and speakers. Both were at a great price. The sub came in a week, the speakers took two days. No problems with customer service, although gettign a trackign number is often difficult.

Canceled my order on a Sony DVD after two weeks and no definative delivery date. I always spoke to a person, was never on hold more than 30 seconds, and always was treated with respect. Unfortunate they coundn't deliver. I may consider trying them for basic purchases.

Real smooth purchase of a JVC VCR and a Toshiba DVD. Took about a week to arrive as advertised. Got email notification of status. Very good prices and no surprises. Just used the "credits" from these purchases to pickup a video adapter.

I'll buy again.

Ordered a Proscan 32700 from them. Best price I could find on the net. There were some questions on the shipping and the rep. called me to confirm. Very polite and willing to work with me. Because this was a large item, it was shipped via a trucking company. They expected it to take three weeks. It arrived in 2.5 weeks. Trucking company thye used was also very nice calling me the day befor and the day of delivery.

I will never order from Netmarket again. They stock no merchandise. They forward your order to a vendor with no guarantees that the vendor actually has the merchandise. In my case, the "revendored" my order twice with no luck. The also charged my credit card for a receiver that was never shipped and it took two calls to get the order cancelled and then over a month before my credit card was credited. My advice: stay away from these people and spread the word.

My experience was also quite negative. I bought an Infinity CC-3 center channel speaker with the understanding they would match prices anywhere on the internet(URL required). I filled out the required form for the price match and sent in (had to be mailed by the way). I received a letter stating that my site was not valid and no price match/refund would be coming. I sent a complaint to the BBB and within 10 days I got a letter from them saying I would be receiving my refund on my visa card. These guys need to understand that if you make a claim about pricing, you better back it up.

Ordered a Denon 3300 receiver from them and received it within a week. Great price, was $750 shipped. Had questions about Warrenty, etc... and contacted Wayne Harriman. Excellent response time and very helpful. I would not hesitate in ordering from them again.

To get 20$, call and threaten to cancel membership. they will offer you 10$, but you can get at least 20$. i've done it twice.
