I purchased two Pentax and one Panoptic eyepiece from them to be shipped to Canada. The items arrived quickly and were well packaged. Courteous, hassle free service. Compared to Canadian dealers, I thought I was in heaven!

I purchased my scope from them through the internt.
Spoke with them on the phone a few times very freindly
The prices were very low ad the staff was very polite
and helpfull. I will defentley will do business with
them again. I would recommend them any time.

I bought a 12" LX200 from them which had several problems. They dealt with Meade for me and got my money back. Ordered 2 more scopes from them and currently awaiting their arrival.

I just purchase 3 very expensive eyepieces from WHC (prices same as everybody elses). I talked with Carlos and he advised that he had all three in stock. I asked him to ship them rapidly and he got permission to send them 2-day air. Ordinarily, they include basic shipping in the sale of their EP's. The EP's arrived two days after the phone call and were beautifully prepared for shipment. Our conversation was friendly and so casual that I actually worried if I would get exactly what I ordered and for the agreed upon price. Good news is that I did! I will do business with these ethical people again!

I am the person who posted the information after having purchased 3 eyepieces. Given that I had such good luck, I ordered another EP about a week later during the Thanksgiving holiday period. The ordered was not shipped until 2-3 working days after they said they were sending it and they charged a $10 shipping fee even though shipping is currently not being charged on TV eyepieces. A call to Carlos got immediate results. He apologized for the late shipment and also for charging me the $10. What makes these people appear to be trying harder is that 3 days after he said he would reverse the shipping charge on my credit card, a credit slip came in the mail with credit for an addtional $5. These people appear to be human but are definetly class acts. I will continue to buy from them but make sure I get a little more clarity on what is being charged and when the item will be shipped.

Absoluty the worst outlet to deal with! I came in because I heard they had good prices. I’ll tell you something… I’d rather pay a few dollars more than work with these people. A bunch of typical used car salesman! I walked out pissed and I was flabbergasted on how they have been around so long. I left and got my Nexstar 11 from another telescope store near by.

Sloppy service. Gave me no tracking code for my shipment,
and shipped it as slow as possible (didn't even appear to
be insured or confirmed delivery for such an expensive piece
of equipement). Even got my order slightly wrong (and
product was slightly defective - but that probably wasn't
their fault). However, the person on the phone was nice,
and they answered my e-mail promptly. They seem to be good
people, but I think they need to be better staffed.

Overall this was a very, very disappointing experience full of false promises. Ordered a Celestron 102-HD in late July. After waiting a week and never receiving the item I gave them a call only to find that the item had been backordered for some time now (would be helpful if they posted an items status on their site). I grew impatient and eventually bought a different telescope from another company and called Woodland Hills to cancel my order. The employee I spoke to said he was taking care of it as we spoke. A couple weeks later I find that my bank account had been charged for the price of the telescope I had ordered from Woodland Hills. I called them up and asked them what happened, to find that my order had never been cancelled. They instructed me to refuse delivery of the item and that they would refund my account. Well two weeks passed and after tracking the shipment back to their store, I had yet to receive my refund. I again called them up. I was told that the refund would be taken care of, and that the employee would handle it as soon as he hung up the phone. Another week has passed and I have yet to receive my refund. I'm now going through my Bank to dispute the charges, and needless to say, this is not a complication I'd ever want anyone else to go through. While the prices are fair (pretty much the same as any other online retailer) the customer service is ridiculously irresponsible. Stay away at all costs.
