TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Excellent planetary eyepiece. Very bulky for its focal length though.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Very sharp views. Kidney beans when looking at the moon. Large size, but I like that. Easy to keep track of when you're fumbling around in the dark. Heavy sucker - don't pop this onto an ETX. Excellent on a C8+. Pricey, but worth it.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Several nights of side by side comparison to Speers-Waler 10mm. Overall performance of Nagler 9mm slightly behind the Speers-Waler 10mm; tended to
incur kidney bean effect more often w/Nagler. A good ep but compare to the
Waler before spending 2x.

This is a very sharp to the edge eyepiece. It is one eyepiece that seems to get used alot.

This is my favorite med-power eye piece. The wide apparent field of view makes it a joy to use.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Excellent plantary views (278X in my f/10 10".) Sharp to the edge. No kidney bean problems noted. Due to the relatively short relief, I have to press my eye against the cup to take in the wide fov. Slight chromatic abberation on bight objects such as Jupiter. Most-used high power eyepiece.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
NOT inferior to UO Konig as stated above!! In another league. Very nice views. Some kidney bean. Decent eye relief for a 9mm eyepiece.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Great eyepiece for observing galaxies and the Magellanic clouds in 14.5" f/4.5 dob. In the same telescope I have had very sharp views of planets, from edge to edge, when using a 2X Barlow with the Nagler. The only draw back is that I don't like using the Nagler in telescopes with star diagonals (ie my C8 and 80mm refractor), which tend to become awkward to handle due to the size and weight.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
very sharp, slightly superior to comparable Meade 8.8mm UW, big and heavy, better eye relief than in other short FL eyepieces I own.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Great value and quality. The 2 inch fitting is probably not necessary and this eyepiece would be lighter without it, but the optics and manufacturing can not be beat.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Excellent. Just enough eye-relief to see whole field without eyelashes touching. Great wide field, view very comfortable. 2in skirt a plus because i have a 2in. diagonal. Very sharp of course, contrast excellent, coatings excellent.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Excellent EP. I compared it to my Radian 10. Both EP's are equally sharp, although the Radian had a slight edge over the Nagler 9 on contrast. However, the nice wide views make up for it. BTW, I like both EP's and don't really consider them to be that much of an overlap. I use the Radian 10 when I want to maximize the potential of my scope, due to it's better contrast, but when I want to take in those breath taking wide angle views, I opt for the Nagler 9!

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
Excellent. Perfect eye-relief if you don't use glasses. Very, very sharp on my 6in mak at 200X. I consider the 2in skirt a plus because I don't have to use an adapter on my 2in focuser. Slight lateral color, but otherwise super in every respect. Kidney beans not a problem, even in daylight. I have newer version with eyecup which is positioned perfectly and a great help.

TeleVue Nagler 9mm
This is probably the best overall medium power eyepiece you can buy period. It is one of my mmost used eyepieces as it provides 111x on my 4" refractor and 184x on my 14.5" f/4.5 dob. I find the eye relief to be very good, but I do not wear glasses so YMMV. Excellent light throughput and sharp to the edge.
UO Konig? LOL! Can't even compare.
