Sailormoon is the best cartoon next to Dragonball Z. It's based on a teenaged
girl and it seems more real that way. I loved it and became infacuated with it
ever since. My favorite cyharacter is Serina because she's a clutz just like me.
She also never get's to school on time(just like me). I also think the story line is very involved and captures your attention with common teenage problems.
At the end of each episode they give a segment on how you should live your life,
I love this part because it give's you a thought from the producers of the show.
I believe that this cartoon is not just for girls but for both boy's and girl's
alike. I myself am of the male persausion and I don't find anything wrong with watching it. It has many humorus parts ton it like when Serina falls on her face
or when their all competing to get a guy. The funniest part is during the "Doom Tree" series where Anne and Serina are fighting to get the attention of Darrien.
I thoughally enjoined watching every episode of this great Anime series!

hmm, well SM is saddd anime, dunno where the hype came about. buncha highschool girls running around in skimpy skirts showing off their undies, why arent they big breasted ?!?!...well here goes : story is discontinues, repetitive battles, unimaginative villain personality/design, anoying chracter introduction(arghh), also the movies suck bigtime.

this anime's only recommended for little girls or people who dont like deep plots. blah

Hmm... I'm not very fond of the series... and I saw the fansubs, the original japanese, the cantonese, and the american dub. I'm still not impressed. I mean, some episodes of S I really liked, and I loved Nerhernia's Arch, but the other parts were blah. The manga was a lot better, (I only read the Chinese version- I don't even want to touch "Smile.") and the music for the series is extremly good, but the rest was just... blah. Anyhoo, for those who's "anime" experience is just Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and Pokemon, I suggest getting some other anime. Like, say, Blueseed. ^_^

I love Sailor Moon! It's funny and sad and there's action and romance! It's got eveything!! I love Serena and Darien together!! And it shows friendship and the scouts working together...and trust and support and everything!! You can totally relate!!

Animation is very bad... The storyline is bad, you stay in the same place and fight same ol' bad guys everyday... you don't get to meet many new people. The characters sucked.. especially Usagi. I give this a 0..

This is a retaliation vote. I have nothing against the series but. when I see several people claiming this is the best thing since the invention of animated features, I must recant my favorable vote to one to even out what a more accurate score should be. I would say my normal vote would be between 7 and 8 because I found this series flawed, yet a nice diversion. All voting inflation should be retaliated by a more appropriate vote deflation.

I used to like sailor moon, and then i saw fushigi yuugi, a much more fulfilling series that even has a dumbass schoolgirl as a main character. If all youve seen is sailor moon, or any other heavily broadcasted anime such as pokemon or dragonball z, then you should check out anime like fushigi yuugi, which will undoubtedly please those into sailormoon, or Rurouni Kenshin, which has some of the greatest fight scenes in all of anime. Both series are much more hilarious and action-packed than sailor moon could ever hope to be.

I'm changing my rating from 3 to a 1, and thats being very generous.
After that insightfull opinion of that AOLer(which obviously doesnt have anything better to do than posting SM bs of his Daddys' AOL account) I would like to point things out :

First of all the majority of SM fan are perverts(the males anyway), I cant think anything else why anyone (except little girls who envision themself to be just like Sailor MOOON!) would watch underage girls running around exploting themselfs. If your a male like that AOL guy (spider-ta061.proxy.aol.com) and doesnt think remotely about 'that' you seriously have a problem, you could be :

1)heterosexually challenged.
2)a cross dresser.
3)had a sex change.
4)still being breastfed.

And anyone who tells people to get a life(spider-ta061.proxy.aol.com) and also watch sailormoon would fill all of the above.
