TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
An eyepiece that lives up to the hype of the advertisment. Provides high
contrast, crisp images across complete FOV.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
I have a Celestron CG11 - this is THE main eyepiece I use. Same field of view as the supplied 26mm put with 25% more magnification. VERY easy to keep the view. If I could have only one eyepiece, this would be the one.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
About as good as it gets. My most used eye piece
with my F6 8 inch Dob. Superb sharpness and constrast,
with nice wide field. A very versatile eye piece.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
There is no better eyepiece in this focal length range. Is very sharp and comfortable to use, even with a barlow. Highly recommended.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
The 19mm Panoptic is one of the best eyepieces Tele Vue offers. I should know, I have most of the Tele Vue eyepieces! Views are excellent, contrasty and sharp right to the edge. The only eyepieces I would rank higher are the 22mm & 12mm Nagler Type 4's.

Since the eyepiece is so small is another plus. I can use this eyepiece in any scope I have no matter how small it is. I give an A+ to the Tele Vue 19mm Panoptic!

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Beautiful eyepiece to look at and to look through. Extremely sharp to the edge in my F10 scope. Bright image with excellent contrast. With eyecup in 'up' position in very cold weather there are problems with frosting so I leave it down (those of you who don't live in Alaska may not have this problem ;-). This is one premium eyepiece that performs as it should. Highly recommended.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Excellent sharpness and the small size of the eyepiece is a convenience. However, since I like to wear glasses while viewing through eyepieces, the short eye releif is somewhat bothersome.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
I really like this ep. Tack sharp to the edge is an accurate description. Eye relief is a little tight for eyeglass wearers (my only critisism). The extra field makes up for that IMO compared to the Radians. Barlows well too.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
My favorite eyepiece by far. Very sharp and clear with ideal FOV. Small size and weight another big plus. Only drag is that due to limited eye relief the lens gets smeared by eyelashes requiring too frequent cleaning.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
This terrific eyepiece would have scored a 10 apart from one thing: I now have a 12mm type 4 Nagler, so my poor little Panoptic is hardly ever used! It is testament to the quality and ease of use of what WAS my favourite eyepiece, that a type 4 Nagler is one of the few eyepieces to beat it! (it Barlows very nicely through 2X and 3X Televue Barlows, giving you top quality wide field 19, 9.5 and 6.3mm Panoptic eyepieces for half price!)

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
This is my 150x eyepiece for my C11. It replaces a TV 19mm wide field Plossel in my collection; a significent improvement! Great eyepiece, probably most used with this telescope. I'd give it a 9.5 if I could.(I don't give out 10s because I've haven't seen anything perfect, yet.)

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Sharp but eye relief is overstated. Would not have bought it had I known this beforehand. Found the 18 Radian, 22 T2 Nagler, or Meade Superwide much more comfortable to use.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Based on the review at Todd Gross's web site I bought a pair of these to use with a binoviewer. Todd was right, this is the perfect eyepiece for the Bino Vue. It has even become one of my favorite stand alone eyepieces. A small sized and reasonably priced alternative to the 16mm, 17mm, 20mm & 22mm Naglers.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Installed in a true binocular telescope, these eyepieces define a whole new level of observing experience. Sharp!!! is the word to describe the views and this enhances the 3D effect immenseley. Colors are true and vivid--I stared at Aldebaran for 10 minutes as though I'd never seen it before the color was so intense. Red color in the Orion Nebula much more pronounced (though still subtle) than with other eyepieces. The size and comfort of these eyepieces is unmatched--the rubber eyeguards fit nicely into the eye sockets of the human skull aiding in centering the eye and adjusting interocular distance.
Why not a 10? A miniscule amount of lateral color seen on the moon--lime green on one side, magenta on the other--and the pincushion distortion, though I got used to it very quickly. Still, for 240 bucks each, one would think these problems could be engineered out somehow.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Excellent eyepiece and probably my favourite in all my scopes. Small light and tack sharp across the entire 68ยบ field. The scopes I use this in are:

Celestron C9.25
Orion Optics OMC140 Maksutov
Zeiss Telementor
Vixen GP90
ETX90
ST80

Good results are expected from an eyepiece like this in slow scopes, but it also seems to bring the best out of my faster scopes like the short tube 80. Expensive, but if you want the sharpest view possible then you can't go far wrong with this Panoptic.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
One of my favorite eyepieces, the 19mm Panoptic is sharp to the field edge and is an ideal size and weight for use with a variety of telescopes. My only complaint, and a minor one it is, is that the eye relief is not as much as I would like.

TeleVue Panoptic 19mm
Favourite ep for use with my Ranger.
I also have the 15mm Pan, and the 2.5x and 5x Powermates. All combinations work very well, pretty much covering the scope's useful magnification range.
