Love the movie...Man, you can get the movie everywhere, it's just called: MACROSS AND HAS SOME JAPANESE WORDS ON IT. You cannot miss it! BLOCKBUSTER even has it! You can also buy it at that movie store(forgot the name) that can be found in almost every MALL. It's the store with like 10 tv's, all showing the same movie. NOW, they have lost of Japanese Animation Movies,etc. They even
carry the Regular Macross TV show episodes! Plus, they can order MOVIES for you if they don't have it! COOL HUH. JUST LOOK FOR THE SECTION CALLED JAPANESE ANIMATION...good luck...by all..Kalvin Hang

The robots look real cool and the whole story is good but the dubbing on the dubbed version is the worst I've ever heard.

For a movie of it's age, the animation is incredible. The story line is well thought out. The characters are familiar, and well developed. This is by far the best of all the Macross movies!! A must see for a Macross fan. A very mind-blowing experience.

Excellent movie, I'd give it a ten but just forcing all of the elements of a 36-episode series into 2 hours was a hard task. The movie has great eye candy and incredible music. For Robotech fans sick of Minmay's "We Will Win" you have to see this movie just so you can realize that the original character could SING!

Unfortunately the original Super Dimensional Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love is not commercially available in the US, ther is Clash of the Bionoids but that is a horrible dub and a basterdized version. You can obtain this movie through most fansub distributors. Just do a web search for fansub. Get this movie it is worth it!

I think macross in clash of the bionoids was one of the japanimation movies I ever saw. But the story wasn't the same as the tv series but it was still good. The animation was great. The characters were cool to like Rick Hunter and Max, Max was the best. Some parts were funny but the depressing thing is when Roy Fokker dies because he was one of the cool characters of the movie. The rating I give this movie is a 10

This is my Favorite anime to date. Althought he newer animes may have fresher colors or animation, LDYR's story is unparalled.

The Animation in this fine title is up there with Ghost In the Shell. The story is pretty damn good but a bit depressing (Hikaru dies at the end blowing up Buldolza's craft.)

Without Macross anime probably wouldn't be what it is today. That's a statement I think a lot of people will agree with. Now 15 years later it is still among the best of all anime. Unfortunately I've found that the sequels to this movie have been overly poor since it seems that the animators have forgotten that no army on earth would ever make military equipment specially suited to women or men (example Macross 7). However the original still shines through and proves that there is always hope where there is love.

To the poster about Hikaru dying, that does not happen at all! You see him flying back toward the Macross in the end. Not to mention how do you explain the scenes in Macross 2012: Flashback where Hikaru is escorting the Megaroad One?

Wow, I posted my message long time ago here. FINALLY i got all three versions of this movie (Clash of the bionoids, super dimensional fortress, Do you remember love?), all them RULE. For me, if its not the best, probably is one of the best animation movies out there. 120 minutes of pure animation and eye candy. this movie is a must see and of course a must have.

You want to no somthing realy wierd about this movie? IT IS CURSED! Their is not one good english version of this movie (and that includes subbs). I got the sub from kiseki films. Never heard of them? I thought not, you see now that I am a conneticut yankee in King Aurthor's court (meaning, I moved to England)anime is alot different over here. The subtitles for this movie are presneted in "closed caption" type black ink outs that obscure the action in at least one part (minmays shower scene, Yeah Im sick!). I must say that finaly seeing the subb has cleansed me from the evil that is the DYRL dub

P.S. If you have the DYRL dubb, you are missing out on an incredible closing scene, that just washes away the depression!

Do I remember love, no all I recall is Dragonball starting over again, and again, and again ??? What the hell is up ?!?! All I know is that dragonball Z kicks everyones a** and everyone knows it, exept the tape player for WB39 in Miami Florida, damn you. If Cartoon Network doesn't learn from WB's mistake,
there will be some serious a** kicking and no one will be safe.

Thank you, but watch yourselves, for the Strider sees all and hears all and is getting ready for his jump to ultra super sayian and his kao-ken is stronger than the ever famous Jacalope; so BEWAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
