I didn't give a value rating to this mount ; it is really expensive at first glance , but with other comparable mounts (Losmandy G-8 and G-11) the extras start to add up quickly. This mount has a polar alignment scope that can't be beat as standard. The drive is exceptionaly smooth and VERY quiet. I run the drive from a 3 amp , 12 volt regulated power supply plugged into an outside recepticle. I can't say enough good things about this mount;simply "the best".

Excellent performance and reasonable value second-hand. Rather expensive (especially the wooden tripod legs) new.

good mount but the manual instruction is too simplified and difficult to undestand

Takahashi EM-200 Temma II

Excellent quality but certainly expensive (new) in the UK. Secondhand this is a good buy. The wooden tripod legs are excellent but way overpriced.
