Eagle Optics
I have purchased many items in the past from Eagle Optics including a couple of telescopes and numerous eyepieces and other accessories. Each purchase was definitely a positive one as their customer service is second to none. (very helpfull, courteous, knowledgable and a great return policy to boot). I strongly recommend them if you are in the market for high quality optics, namely binoculars and spotting scopes. I will definitely purchase from them in the future or rather in the very near future to be exact.

Can't go wrong with these people. They aren't specialty astronomy people, however
(they're also into birding and probalby other stuff). So you might not be able
to find the product that you are looking for. Otherwise I've been very satisfied
with my one transaction (for a short tube 80).

As many others have said here, it's hard to beat Eagle's service. I've purchased several items and have always found them knowledgeable about products and prompt in shipping. Some fantastic sales, too. Unfortunately, they appear to be moving away from the astronomy sector and more toward serving the needs of naturalists (bird watchers, etc.). Lucky for them!
Eagle's factory store just west of Madison, WI is usually stocked with more telescopes than they sell on-line. Worth going to if you live within driving distance and you need some help in buying a new telescope. Get directions first. It's nestled in an industrial park with only a small store sign.

I bought two telescopes from these guys, One new and one used. I have bought several eyepieces, an off axis guider, charts, etc. They are always great to deal with. They ship it out same day. I even visited their showroom once when I was nearby in Wisconsin on business. I highly recommend their service and their highly qualified and knowledgable staff for advice. Hey, they even dicker on prices now and then!

Excellect company!! They went out of their way to send me a pair of binoculars by ovenight service (and didn't even charge me that much). When I discovered that I couldn't reach focus without my glasses on, they took the binoculars back ---- and were still very friendly about it. About two days later I received a credit slip in the mail from them. They are very honest and trust-worthy business, and I can't wait to do business with them again!!!!!
We would all be very fortunate if there were more companies like Eagle Optics!!!!!

I have to give them a 10. I ordered a Nexstar 8 that was all screwed up. They took it back and send me a new one without hassle. I did have to eat the shipping back. (I would have had to with Celestron also) They were always helpful on the phone and called me long distance to make sure there were no screwup. I have also received good advice from some of their people. Ask for Tom Hall.

They are very good
